New Partner strengthens local law firm

louise-long2Louise Long has recently become the latest new Partner at Blocks Solicitors. Louise, who joined Blocks in 2009 in order to head its private client team in Ipswich, graduated in law at Leicester University and completed her professional training at the college of Law in Guildford.

After completing her articles with Birkett Westhorp and Long in Ipswich, Louise specialised in private client work, becoming a partner at Birkett Long in Colchester in 1995, and qualified as a Notary Public in 1998. Louise commented that she was looking forward to building on and continuing to deliver to clients a professional and efficient service with the best legal advice available.

Gerry Field, Managing Partner at Blocks said: “Louise has done a tremendous job since joining the firm. She has developed our private client service and have already forged strong working relationships with many local clients, as well as retaining her existing links with clients and professional referrers in and around London. We are continually striving to deliver a first class service to our clients, which is reinforced by the promotion of talented individuals of such high calibre. Her accession to partner reflects her achievements and is richly deserved.”
